Now you can use magic again to pull a banana out of that tank. Use Wingardium Leviosa magic to lift that over the nearby fish tank, which will cause the fish to pull the meat down into the tank with them. As one of the humans, hit the bird with magic to turn it into drumsticks. The bird will flap down to a desktop below.
Have Hermione's cat climb up the tubing and work toward the left, where it can push out a lever that frees a bird from the cage. Pull the disc away from the base of the tubing near the bottom side of the screen. There's a cauldron along the room's left side where such a potion can be brewed, but you'll have to find the ingredients first. You can only step into that ring when your character is old enough to sport a beard, or when he has a beard by way of a magic potion.
